Welcome to Chozen Shield!
We are a Canadian based company where we design, test, and manufacture face shields locally.
The meaning behind the name Chozen is threefold:
1) You have a lot of PPE options, you are choosing this option out of many, and we are grateful for it.
2) You are chosen to be protected. You are worth protecting.
3) Zen is the Japanese word for peace. We hope this shield will bring peace to you as you go into the world.

The reasoning behind the incorporating the classical emblem of the Spartan shield into the logo is because the shield one of the best in military history, and because although individually it works well, the true strength of the phalanx formation is when all soldiers work as one unit: your shield protects you and the soldier beside you, and you are protected by the shield of the soldier beside you.
In the same way, one person wearing the chozen shield is strong, but our true strength comes when we all don the shield, protecting not only ourselves but those around us too.

We break down complexities into its elemental pieces in order to better understand it and in hopes of developing a better solution.
We seek the whole truth; to get to the root issue. Even if unprofitable. Even if unpleasant. If it is true, we must act accordingly.
The "mental" part of our name is a reminder that in everything we do, we must approach it with the right mindset and heartset.
The "fun" part is self-explanatory :).
We live in uncertain times. We let who we are guide our decision making. Ready for whatever the next normal will be. Whatever we make the next normal to be.
